EA SPORTS F1 25: Driver Ratings Update — 2026 Season Pack, June 2026

EA SPORTS and Codemasters have released the first seasonal driver ratings update for F1 25: 2026 Season Pack. The new ratings reflect performances from the opening races of the championship through to the Monaco Grand Prix 2026 and directly influence how AI drivers behave and compete on track.

How the Rating System Works

Each driver receives an Overall Rating (RTG) calculated from four core parameters. Experience (EXP) measures the number of races a driver has entered in their career compared to the longest-serving drivers on the grid. Racecraft (RAC) evaluates the ability to work through the field during a race. Awareness (AWA) reflects the driver's skill in avoiding incidents and penalties. Pace (PAC) measures how closely a driver matches the fastest qualifying and race lap times. Of all the parameters, pace carries the greatest weight in determining the overall rating.

The Most Significant Changes

Kimi Antonelli is undoubtedly the standout name in this update. The young Mercedes driver, currently leading the World Championship, earns the biggest improvement of all: +5 points, taking his overall rating to 88. The only factor slightly holding him back is his Experience score of 71, which is based purely on the number of races he has started compared to the most seasoned drivers on the grid.

Arvid Lindblad matches Antonelli's improvement with a +5 point jump in his overall rating, a well-deserved recognition after scoring his first points in Formula 1.

Lewis Hamilton looks noticeably more comfortable in the #44 Ferrari in 2026, with the lighter cars suiting his driving style alongside adjustments to the braking system. A recent run of podiums earns him +1 point overall.

Isack Hadjar continues to impress at Red Bull and gains +1 point. The same boost applies to Liam Lawson, who has delivered a solid run of points finishes interrupted only by a retirement in Miami, and to Pierre Gasly, quietly enjoying an excellent start to the season with an improved Alpine. Gabriel Bortoleto also rises by 1 point: the Audi driver already scored points on the team's debut in Melbourne and has remained consistently close to the top 10 since.

On the other side of the ledger, Lando Norris — the reigning World Champion — is enduring a difficult start to the 2026 season and drops from 94 to 92 overall. George Russell loses 1 point after a start to 2026 in which Antonelli has had the upper hand at Mercedes. Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso each drop 1 point, reflecting the struggles of Williams and Aston Martin respectively. Alex Albon falls 2 points for the same reason, while Valtteri Bottas drops 2 points amid Cadillac's challenging start and a pace deficit compared to teammate Perez.
