The Black Angel Team: Sim Racing with a Touch of Style
In the world of sim racing, where competition is fierce, and driving skills are constantly put to the test, some teams stand out for their passion and dedication. Among them is the Black Angel Team, a group of enthusiasts that has built a solid reputation both in Italy and internationally.
What is Sim Racing?
Sim racing, or racing simulation, is much more than a video game. It is a discipline that faithfully replicates the driving experience, requiring skills, strategy, and a deep understanding of driving dynamics. Simulators like Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, and rFactor offer immersive simulations with accurately recreated tracks, weather conditions, and vehicles, making sim racing a true virtual sport.

Update #5, Patch #2 – June 25th, 2025
The latest *Update #5* patch delivers a wide range of critical fixes and general improvements, especially targeting online play and game stability.
Known Issues (Ongoing)
We are aware of a connectivity issue affecting some players using certain ISPs, causing slow transitions between sessions or being sent back to the garage. A VPN or fixed IP may temporarily resolve the issue.
A recent Logitech G Hub update is causing crashes on launch or session loading — even for users only using it for mouse/keyboard. We recommend rolling back the update and reporting it to Logitech.
Custom Liveries
- Fixed livery duplication on other cars
- Fixed incorrect UI previews
- Removed non-functional “view/edit livery” buttons
Engine & Tech
- Fixed crashes during session transitions, `snd.conf`, ALT+TAB in fullscreen, controller plug-in, unsupported characters in usernames, server drops, and online session changes
Gameplay
- Players can now equip wet tyres after dry tyre limit
- Fixed occasional random worn tyre issue
Online
- Fixed multiplayer join issues, practice session exit crash, “No Vehicle” bug, long name restrictions, and locked brake bias after rejoin
RaceControl
- Fixed incorrect practice server loads and stuck race registrations
Race Starts
- Fixed starting grid gap between classes after full formation lap
Race Weekend
- Fixed inability to drive after being in an online session
Settings & Profiles
- Fixed setup name conflict and profile update bug
Tracks
- Spa: Fixed LMGT3 cars overlapping at grid start
