The Black Angel Team: Sim Racing with a Touch of Style
In the world of sim racing, where competition is fierce, and driving skills are constantly put to the test, some teams stand out for their passion and dedication. Among them is the Black Angel Team, a group of enthusiasts that has built a solid reputation both in Italy and internationally.
What is Sim Racing?
Sim racing, or racing simulation, is much more than a video game. It is a discipline that faithfully replicates the driving experience, requiring skills, strategy, and a deep understanding of driving dynamics. Simulators like Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, and rFactor offer immersive simulations with accurately recreated tracks, weather conditions, and vehicles, making sim racing a true virtual sport.

Le Mans Ultimate June Update Arrives: Driver Swaps and Team Roles Lead the Way
Le Mans Ultimate: New LMGT3, Lusail and Requested Features Coming June 10
On June 10, 2025, Le Mans Ultimate will receive a major update that will complete the content of the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship season. The “Pack 5” DLC will introduce two new LMGT3 cars, the Lusail International Circuit, and highly anticipated features such as driver swaps, custom liveries, and team management.
New LMGT3 Cars
Lamborghini Huracán LMGT3 Evo2: The game’s only V10 model, known for its distinctive sound. Used by the Iron Lynx and Iron Dames in 2024, it will be replaced by the Temerario in 2026.
Lexus RC F LMGT3: Despite the lack of “Evo” upgrades, it remains competitive thanks to the Balance of Performance. It achieved its first podium in 2025 at Imola.
Lusail International Circuit
Located in Qatar, Lusail has been added to the game with two layouts: the full track and a short version. With technical corners and long straights, it offers a unique challenge for multi-category racing.
Driver Swaps
Driver swaps will initially be available in online “Special Events”. Players will be able to select their replacement driver via the Multi-Function Display (MFD) before pitting. This feature will be extended to online championships and leagues in the future.
Custom Liveries
RaceControl Pro or Pro+ subscription holders will be able to upload custom liveries for online events. Liveries will be automatically downloaded by all participants on the server. Players without a subscription will be able to use custom liveries if they are part of a team with a subscribed owner.
Team Management
Players will be able to create teams, assign roles (driver, engineer, manager, owner) and manage line-ups and liveries. Standard teams can have up to 6 members and a line-up; Pro subscribers can have up to 100 members and 10 lineups.
Other Updates
LMGT3 Tyre Model: Refined to improve stability and reduce drift angle abuse.
Race Starts: Classes are now correctly grouped with realistic gaps.
Fuel Economy Strategies: Disabled clutch use beyond first gear to prevent abuse.
Fuel Stats: New information available in the MFD to help manage fuel consumption.
With this update, Le Mans Ultimate now features 11 circuits with 21 layouts, 11 hypercars, 1 LMP2, 4 GTEs and 9 LMGT3s, for a total of 25 cars.
